Good morning,
Last Thursday, I took on a new little project. I was feeling a bit restless in my apartment and decided to rearrange some furniture to create a more comfortable and inviting space. After researching a bit online, I discovered the art of Feng Shui and decided to give it a try.
To my surprise, the simple act of turning my desk to face the center of the room instead of the wall made a huge difference in my overall experience of the space. It now feels like I have my own little workstation, surrounded by a cozy nook.
If you're feeling a bit cramped or uninspired in your own space, I highly recommend looking up some Feng Shui tips for arranging your furniture, especially your bed and desk. It’s a small change but it makes a huge difference. Check out the videos I watched for inspiration - they're both educational and entertaining!
Best,
Lou

I have studied a bunch of Korean grammar and stories. I’ll be away in Italy with my family next week, so I won’t have much time for my other studies. I haven’t listened to much Italian lately, I should get back to it!
✍️ Design
I have worked on several website projects a this week. I learnt a lot fo Webflow. It’s honestly amazing what we can do with simple tools and a bit of practice. I especially enjoyed setting up simple animations to make it more unique. These small, but impactful additions, can elevate a website to the next level. I can’t wait to see how I far it can go.

📚 Book
I've been making an effort to read more, and recently started "Never split the difference" by Chris Voss. It's been an interesting read so far and I can't wait to see where it takes me.
📝 Article
I read an insightful article on why purely aesthetic website redesigns can be frustrating for experience designers. Sometimes a pretty illustration doesn’t make sense in the real world of ergonomics.
🎬 TV show
I’ve started watching the Queen’s Gambit. Chess is addictive, but I struggle to find the patience to learn moves. I like to learn through playing. I get back into it from time to time.

You reminded me that I read a book on Feng Shui (Feng Shui Modern) a couple months ago. I learned that there are some parts of my room that are following Feng Shui but I also have lots that aren't like not having two bed side tables and having my desk face a wall.
I think my space is the best it can be for now but I'm looking forward to creating a room in the future with Feng Shui in mind before decorating and buying furniture. Great newsletter! I'm going to check out the book you mentioned.
What videos on Feng Shui did you watch? I’ve been quite interesting in the topic myself lately. Great newsletter!
