I liket the way you're using the planner! It's giving me new ideas like adding icons instead of text if I need to save space. Btw, I didn't make the planner! It's just one I liked and decided to use this year :)

It's nice to see someone else starting out to learn Mandarin. Are you using the HSK 1 textbook?

Do the dots represent how many times each week you plan to do a certain activity? I could probably give that a try but a lot of what I do ends up being daily so it'd be redundant πŸ˜…

I'm experimenting with textbooks, the ones I found are pretty old school (the hsk standard as well). Someone recommended the New Practical Chinese Reader for beginners. I wish I had more time to try resources, these weeks have been busy!

You didn't *make* the planner, but it is *your* style that inspired me to get it 😁

I use the dots to help me count how many times I should do it this month, and then if I already did something this week. I'm now adding a lot of "non-study" things to it, like appointments and plans with friends, so I don't feel as bad when I don't do as much 😊

It's better to start somewhere rather than focusing too much on finding the right resource. I'm glad you were inspired by me to use the planner! I like how you're using it so far.
